Auto-renewing memberships for every club
Chasing monthly payments is the least favourite job in any academy. With recurring billing, a member signs up once and is charged automatically at the end of each plan period until they cancel.
Recurring memberships are available to every club and every new plan. There is no activation request: connect Stripe, create the plan and start selling.
How it works
- Create a membership in Plans & pricing and choose Subscription as the payment type.
- Pick the disciplines, the age group and how often it renews, for example every month.
- Set the price. The plan appears in your list as a subscription.
- Members subscribe in the MatSync app and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What you need
- A Stripe account connected to your club, with Stripe onboarding finished.
- A membership plan with a recurring price synced to Stripe.

- One-time plans and class packs keep working alongside subscriptions.
- Changes to new sales never interrupt existing subscriptions.
- Weekly class limits and family discounts work with recurring memberships too.
How to set it up
- Connect your Stripe account under Plans & pricing if you have not already.
- Click Create plan, choose Membership, then Subscription.
- Choose how often it renews, set the price and create the plan.
Questions
Do I need Stripe for recurring billing?
Yes. Payments go to your own connected Stripe account, and the plan needs a recurring price synced to Stripe before members can subscribe.
Which payment methods can members use?

Can I still sell one-time memberships?
Yes. One-time plans, class packs and subscriptions can all be offered at the same time.
